Motorcycles?

I have been thinking a lot about getting a motorcycle. I am seeing more and more of them on the road. If my commute wasn’t so long and if I didn’t drive on so many different freeways, I might consider it even more. Also, would it even be economical since I still have to bring my kids to school every other week? I guess I could drive them to school, then come home and grab the motorcycle. I figured it would take about 2 years to pay a bike off as well. Plus the insurance cost. Does it really calculate out? Probably would make more of a difference if I drove a large SUV or truck but the Mazda3 doesn’t really do to bad on gas mileage.

This is just me getting frustrated with the recent spikes in gas prices. Doesn’t look like its going to come down if at all.
